Emily Bett Rickards was born in July 1991. She is an Canadian actress best known for her role as Felicity in The CW's TV show Arrow. Rickards is from British Columbia native. Her career began at a young age, she introduced herself to dancing and musical theatre in the hopes of introducing herself to more serious acting. She graduated from high school early and attended the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials program. She attended an audition at an open call following the completion of her program. This led to her being accepted with an agent. Alida Vocal Studio was her home for her studies in Vancouver. She began as an one-episode as a special guest, but thanks to the positive reviews from viewers and her sarcastic comedy, she was signed for a second season as a regular.
