Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani's Marley, who's nearing completion of his untitled third album, is certainly a star. Ky-mani Marley was the daughter of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) as well as Anita Belnavis (a Jamaican woman who has won numerous championships), on February 26 26, 1976 in Falmouth. Kymani's name is an East African term meaning adventurous traveler. As the man who lives true to his name Each album or journey can be described as an adventure. The Journey was his first album of music. Through an eclectic approach, he searched for his niche, roaming the musical spectrum to discover his numerous skills. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Kymani's "traditional" reggae single. The album brought out Kymani's mature self. The Journey as well as Many More Roads were well received worldwide, thus solidifying Ky-Mani's position as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani is a mix of roots reggae hip hop, R&B, and contemporary jazz to make his own sound.
